A company is suing Twitter for a breach of a patent. If this article is accurate they may have a problem.

This is just another patent troll... IM websites are not new. Look at ICQ, look at Yahoo Messenger, look at AO-Hell messenger, and so on...

Eventually laconi.ca may replace twitter anyway. these things have to evolve and i'm sure over the last two days people's frustration with the lack of bot support and proper scaling/distribution are nearing an end.
