easy audio editing

It is going to a lot of trouble for 12 minutes - how about fast forward?

I find the virtual slider on the Touch 2G software really difficult to use.

Perhaps 3.0 is out this week though.

Just listening to the latest TWiT. If you dropped the first 12 minutes you would've lost the run down of who's on the show and a lot of the Palm Pre discussion. I think you just need to use fast forward through the initial intro and the adverts during the show.

Eric - I too was having issues with the slider - but then for a test I used the >> button (the one you think will skip to the next song, chapter or podcast - which it will if all you do is tap it) while it was playing and held the "tap" down and vol la - it fast forwards and you can hear it doing so. Stop when you think they stopped talking about audible :)

Version 3 of the iPhone software is supposed to be out on the 16th of June (reported to me but not verified)

I installed 3.0 last night and it has a 30sec back button now.

Hopefully I'll be able to change that to 1minute plus... then I'll be sorted.

Bluetooth seems limited so far. A2DP works but no go on BT gps.

You got GPS on a touch ? anyway erice if you stopped skipping thru twit you would have heard there is an app a listener ( of TWiT) made to skip thru Twit taking out all mentions of Twitter  - this can be changed to skip thru all the show not the the first 12 minutes as next week minutes 5 to 9 are weak, great joke 10 minutes 15 seconds in,  then nothing really happens until the 23rd minute and pretty much palm pre until minute 54 then more audible ads and then from the 62nd minute until the end its light hearted banter.

So with this app you can go from the first minute all the way thru the end without ever having to listen to TWiT  - brilliant  - its nearly as good as not even having to download it.

No GPS inside the Touch 2G but I have a bluetooth GPS which OS3 it seems does not support. It's OK.

I dropped Net@Nite and TWiT a couple years ago.

The only show I still in enjoy is FLOSS weekly and sometimes I cant handle that one either.

There is a new feature in Version 3 of the iPhone/iTouch OS.  When you want to move the scroll bar along on a song/podcast/video if you move your finger down and away from the scroll bar the speed at which you move along that bar alters see screen shots below.

Nice choice of podcast for the screenshots :)
