I wasn't exactly sure where to put this but here seems as good a place as any. Over the past couple of weeks I've been recording and editting a podcast entitled "The Goon Files."
It started off as a random comment from a guy at 4am that him and a few mates should record a podcast. A couple of days later, I had been roped in to "do sound" and we recorded the first episode. I then took it home (it was recorded at uni) and editted the 1.5 hours of audio down to 45 min. This took about 3.5 hours. I then met with the producer the following day and did another 5.5 hours of editting to get it down to 30 min. Insane I know, but that's what happens when you cut sentances together and cross fade between two bits of laughter so that you can cut out the crap.
Anyway, I recorded the 3rd episode today and I thought that people here might like to have a listen.

Something cool is actually that we were given the domain by a listener which is cool.
I must also say though that if you are offended by language and political incorrectness, this probably isn't the podcast for you, however it is extremely funny. Even after the 6th listen.

"..if you are offended by language and political incorrectness..." it's exactly what I look for in a Podcast.
You have a lot to live up to by including "Goon" in the title (although I assume that majority of listeners would never have heard of the Goons).
I'll give it a listen - though as Matt says, putting Goon in the title does really raise expectations really high.
Yeah we did think of that, however it's more a reference to the alcoholic goon. We shall be recording the next episode on Thursday, but I'm not sure when it will get online because I won't be around to edit it. I shall post here once its up.
