So when you start the browser does it go to a blank page? Igoogle? Netvibes? newsgator? msn?  [ joking ] SMH? indymedia?

I'm liking Safari 4's "top sites" even though it's a direct lift from Opera.

For the record I have Camino and Firefox set for a blank page, for the sake of speed.

I'm a web-developer, so my default page is linked to my subversion repositories. Boring but practical.

I think the trend is for browsers to include these thumbnail screens, so eventually everyone will be looking at those. It'd be fun to see what people have accumulated in theirs.

Here's mine...

It says surprisingly much about my personality. Yes... that's 4chan devil

Mine's pretty dull.... but I don't use Safari to much. I'm impressed by the speed in the beta but older releases where so crashy and outdated they've lost me for good.

:-(

Yeah... I've been busy with work lately, no time to write a proper blog post.

Apparently some people didn't appreciate my "Kindle bashing" either... ;P

Bah... Kindle fanboys. You're spot on as far as I'm concerned.

I like the electronic paper as a material, but Amazon smothered the poor thing in so much DRM they do not dare release it to anywhere but the USA, where intellectual property is easiest for them to police.

Most of the American tech pundits I publicly slag are Kindle fanboys.

Makes sense, since 95% of them are useless jackasses with no entrepreneurial relevance.

I love to use the multi-tab home page option on Firefox (I think you can do the same with IE, but I hardly ever use that).

Currently I have igoogle, the Guardian (UK newspaper) and Zoho Writer set.  But I change it as I change what I am working on/interested in.

I'm pretty boring in this field, my homepage is plain old vanilla www.google.com.au.

I used to religiously use Netvibes and it is still set as my homepage but usually I don't open the browser to just go anywhere. I usually have a destination already before I open Firefox so I go to it and skip the whole "how you doing homepage" gig... I dunno how this happened - I think I just got short and shorter of time. I still like my nice custom Netvibes page though :)
