*shock*

The site still has a mockup but BGR claims to have a picture and they may show off prototypes at CES before you read this post.

I had my doubts about QVGA. Qualcomm seemed to indicate Android would be tailored to a specific display at Google IO 2008.

Anyone going to Buy?

I'd guess ship date is June or July but the site says it will ship this month.

They're either exaggerating that it has a 2.5" screen, or, if it is 2.5", the phone has to be nearly 6" diagonal going by the pictures...which would make it one big-ass phone.

Would I buy one? Hmmm...The OS is still somewhat immature and the handset is a first run from an unknown manufacturer, from a company with no history in the phone market...so it's not going to tempt me to give up my iphone just yet.

I was honestly surprised to hear Kogan is a reputable company.

I'm believe qvga is an issue.

They designed the product then tried to shoehorn in the wrong resolution.
cupcake actually mentions support for one or two more resolutions but I hope qvga is NOT in there.
We need progress. That goes for the lame resolution on the iphone too.

I should learn to read.

"Support for WVGA and QVGA, in addition to thecurrently supported HVGA display."

No timeline at all. Anyway qualcomm might be doing that work.
