Hey Wade, welcome to the AGP Forums.
I dunno why anyone would want to move from the UK to the US... possibly you enjoy pain? Tongue out

I've been to Phoenix, AZ, home of the crazed elderly golfcart drivers! I love the amount of used bookstores there.

I have LR2 and a Canon 20D! Go me!

I saw Winterkälte and ah cama-sotz play a show in Phoenix one night around 2000.

It was about 119 that day!

btw - I'm sure America is a lot of fun if you like seeing people with 3 teeth and giant belt buckles mosey through walmart.

j/k

;-)

@Herne I have Nikon D70 which I have had since they first came out in 2004.  Just now looking at a new D90.  LR2 has to be one of the best programs ever, I also recently got a Wacom tablet.  People don't tend to believe you when you tell them about the crazed elderly golf cart drivers driving there road legal carts along the road doing 15mph.

@erice51 yep Phoenix has to be one of the hottest populated places on the planet, amazing to think that it is still the top 5 fastest growing cities in the US.  I managed 7 years there before having to move.

Ugh... I visited Phoenix once - nice place, but roasting... I spent most of my time in a puddle of sweat!

So do you work in NJ or are you a Bridge & Tunneller?

I didn't sweat too much in Phoenix, it was too damn dry! Sweat would evaporate before it had time to pool.

I was there one summer and it was 116 F (46.6 C) in the shade. We opened the car to get in and it was 160 F in the car! We had to get out and let it "cool" before we could go anywhere.

I was also there one Xmas and it was around 75 F (23 C) and I was running around in short sleeves whereas the inhabitants we wearing freakin thermal jackets! They thought I was crazy...

For some reason I also wanted to go visit Tombstone, AZ ... won't do that again.
