- Forum User Agreement -

Use of our forums constitutes acceptance and agreement to our Forum User Agreement and Code of Conduct. If you violate the Code of Conduct or User Agreement, we reserve the right to terminate all accounts belonging to you without prior notice. We prefer to advise users of inappropriate behavior, however, repeated violations will result in an immediate ban. Our failure to enforce this policy, for whatever reason, shall not be construed as a waiver of our right to do so at any time.

On acceptance of this agreement you agree to be bound to the Forum User Agreement and the Code of Conduct and as such must be aware of the conditions of membership to the Aussie Geek Podcast Forums, this includes to adhere to the conditions of the Forum User Agreement and Code of Conduct at all times and the following posting rules.

- Code of Conduct -

In general, please be civil. These forums are provided for the community, and we hope everyone will be welcomed. We value the opportunity to talk directly to our listeners, and ask that the site and all community members be respected.

There are specific posting guidelines as listed below and we request members adhere to when posting. Violations may result in account closure, including temporary and permanent bans, depending on the severity of the violation. Forum Admins and Moderators exercise full discretion to determine whether or not a post is appropriate, and reserve the right to edit, delete, ban and/or take other action without warning against any content posted on these sites. We also reserve the right to edit the Forum User Agreement or Code of Conduct at any time.

- General Posting Rules: -

1. No Spam. Comments posted repeatedly in a thread or multiple threads on the same topic, links unrelated to the thread subject and other actions deemed spam by forum moderators will be deleted.

2. No Flaming. Comments deemed as abusive, offensive, trolling, obnoxious or provocative will be deleted without warning.

3. No Cross Posting. Please do not post the same topic under multiple categories. If there are forum threads or posts that you wish to include as a part of a relevant discussion please provide a link to that thread/post. If you are not sure about where to post a topic please ask a moderator or admin to review the content as to correctly place the thread.

4. No Warez. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. will receive a warning and their post will be removed.

5. No Offensive Material. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums.

6. No Bumping of Threads. Adding single or multiple posts to an old forum thread or topic that is not constructively adding to the conversation with either opinion or information is not allowed.

7. No Deviating from Topic. Any threads that are deemed to have lost focus on the original topic or has "Fallen off the Rails" will be locked and users are asked to create a separate thread if they wish to continue the conversation in the relevant category.

8. No Multiple Accounts. Any forum member found to have more than one account will be asked immediately to choose a single account and will have all other accounts revoked. If the member chooses to further create more accounts then ALL accounts the member holds will be banned without notification. If you believe that you should have more than one account for any reason, please contact a forum admin.

Public posts debating these rules and/or moderators' enforcement of such, will be removed without comment and may result in further action towards the post writer. We encourage feedback however and invite you to use our Feedback and Suggestions category if you have any questions or concerns.
