So the other day, I updated Itunes to the latest version 8.0.1.11 and when I started it up, I found out that the damn upgrade deleted all of my podcast subscriptions. Boy was I pissed. Thankfully, I had a somewhat recent backup of the xml file and to import that into itunes, all I had to do was drag the xml file into the podcast directory and it was imported no problem.
Why on earth would an itunes upgrade delete my podcast subscriptions? Anyone else ever have this happen?
It's iTune's way of saying you should only be listening to the AGP. Oh, and maybe that wordpress thingy too. ;)

Hang on a minute - you have a Zune - whats with the iTunes thing, last time I checked the 2 don't mix... Fess up Jeff, did you ditch the Zune???
I stayed on 7.x on my imac, which does 90% of my downloads.
my library went read only back in the AGP days and they released a fix the next day
I use Itunes as my podcast manager. After I download all the latest tunes, I manually sync the new files into my Zune. So nope, I'm still on the side of the Zune.
I'll fight for the Zune any day of the week.
